Working in partnership with our Centre Managers and Centre Support Office teams, Assistant Centre Managers are valuable members of the Affinity team.
All of our incredible Centre Managers need go-to people to support them and their help their centre success. The valuable work of our Assistant Centre Managers is critical in leading and motivating educators to build a positive and enjoyable work environment. In addition to assisting with the day-to-day operations of the centre, our Assistant Centre Managers also build long-lasting relationships with the local community and families. Assistant Centre Managers have opportunities to work towards management roles, and also to study to become and Early Childhood Teacher.

What qualifications are required for the role?
All our Assistant Centre Managers have either completed or are working towards their Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Many managers choose to undertake their qualifications through The Affinity Learning Academy. 
What does an Assistant Centre Manager do?
Our Assistant Centre Managers collaborate with their Centre Manager to lead and motivate educators and to ensure the centre operates in a way that reflects the Affinity Values. They help to manage the day-to-day operations of the centre and engage regularly with families. 
How do you support employees undertaking qualifications?
Each employee undertaking qualifications with The Affinity Learning Academy is supported with on-the-job coaching, subsidised funding, access to professional development opportunities through our online hub, comprehensive development plans, and more.
