The purpose-built centre located at 333 Keilor Road Essendon, in Victoria, will provide high quality early education and care for up to 82 children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

Centre Manager Jess Foster brings more than 10 years experience in early childhood education to her new role, and has been enthusiastically connecting with new families and the local community in Keilor and Essendon.

Entertainment and 'Healthy Children' incursion providers Little Sports Heroes, Hey dee ho music, Animals on the Move and Happy Feet Fitness provided fun at the Community Open Day on January 19th.

Ms Foster has created a weekly ‘Healthy Children’ program of activities, events, incursions and excursions to enrich the child-led learning and play opportunities for children attending Papilio Early Learning Essendon.

“We’re determined to offer local families the most exceptional early learning experience their child can have,” said Jess.

“Our environment is a wonderful light-filled space designed to nurture curiosity and a love of lifelong learning in every child – every parent who has walked through our doors so far has provided wonderful feedback, and our enrolments are already strong for opening day,” she said.

A rich variety of resources provided by Educating Kids will provide creative inspiration
and cognitive growth for the centres young learners.

Outside, children will have the ability to play and explore in an extensive outdoor area featuring natural trees, bike riding trail vegetable garden beds, timber teepee, and pebble creek bed with a hand pump for children to enjoy water play.

Papilio’s centre’s Summer Menu has been designed using the new feedAustralia portal, to provide balanced nutrition for children aged 0-6 years and includes lamb burger patties, baked fish with hokkein noodles and citrus cupcakes with hidden cauliflower.

Kelly Richardson, the Gourmet Nutritionist, discusses the centre's Healthy Food menu at the Community Open Day on 19th January.

“Our Lifelong Learning approach encourages children to develop social connectivity, emotional confidence, foundational learning and physical health and well-being, and we are so excited to start the year with a wonderful team of educators and our foundation families already in place,” said Jess.
