Our People

Our People

At Affinity, we proudly do things differently. Our mission, to inspire and nurture individuals to reach their full potential, isn’t just about what we do for our children, it’s about what we do for our team too.

Each member of our team is a true Affinity-ite. Someone who has a genuine passion and interest in working with children and their families. We have winning attitudes. We are individuals. We are skilled and experienced professionals.

Most of all, we bring out the best in each other, and we have serious fun doing it.

Our teachers, educators and assistants know the value of high quality early education, and they strive to help every child in their care reach their full potential. All Affinity educators either hold or are working towards early childhood qualifications. One thing they all have in common is a passion for creating fun environments to work, play and learn.

Affinity makes work and study easy because they give you the encouragement and flexibility you need. I’m a full-time Assistant Educator and I’m completing my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education online at uni. I’m just so well supported by the people around me – they’re great – I couldn’t ask for more. Affinity really does inspire individuals to reach their full potential.

Centre Managers

Our centre managers live the team spirit. They not only have a passion for working with children and families, but a passion for supporting their teams to grow and develop. They are supported to run their centres to best practice standards so they perform as exceptional businesses as well as exceptional early learning environments. They are the frontline of communication in each centre and their friendly, positive attitudes will make you feel welcome

I started as a trainee here 10 years ago and it’s the only childcare centre I’ve ever worked in – it’s so great I could never change. I get to have fun with our fantastic team every day as we deliver the very best in education and care. I love seeing the children’s smiling, happy faces, and receiving their hugs and friendship. Plus I get to make a difference to their lives and their learning outcomes.

Centre Manager, Pitt Town Preschool

Quality Advisors

Only Affinity supports its centres to meet the National Quality  Standards (NQS) through Quality Assessments and Assessment and Rating support visits conducted by a dedicated team who are passionate about delivering the best in early childhood education. By going well above and beyond the industry standard, we can ensure every Lifelong Learning Centre owned by Affinity is meeting or exceeding the NQS – and reaching their full potential.

Corporate staff

We believe in the old saying ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. In our case, we’re supporting about 20,000 children every year! Our 'village' headquarters – known as Centre Support Office – is located in Brisbane, Queensland, and comprises a fabulous mixing pot of ideas and experience. They are listeners, collaborators and communicators. They are idealists and innovators, and they are united in inspiring and nurturing every single Affinity-ite, every single day. We tell our Centres they are the ‘centre of our universe’ – and we really mean it.

We’re always looking for true Affinity-ites - search for current Careers with Affinity if you’d like to join us.
