More about Centre Managers

What does a Centre Manager do?
Our Centre Managers enjoy a diverse role that sees them engaging with all areas of the business. They provide exceptional leadership to their team, collaborate with Centre Support teams in areas of Education and Quality, are the first contact for families and children in their centre.
What qualifications are required for the role?
All our Centre Managers have either completed or are working towards their Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Many managers choose to undertake their qualifications through The Affinity Learning Academy.
How do you support employees undertaking qualifications?
Each employee undertaking qualifications with The Affinity Learning Academy is supported with on-the-job coaching, subsidised funding, access to professional development opportunities through our online hub, comprehensive development plans, and more.
Why does Affinity Education use the term Centre Managers instead of Centre Directors?
The early education and care sector has traditionally used the term Centre Director to desribe the manager of a cetnre.

At Affinity Education, we consider these people to be our future business leaders. Our Centre Managers have been identified - often from within the centre team - as having true potential to grow in their career. We provide support, operating systems, processes, management skills and training to set them up for success.

Our Centre Managers play a vital role in the success and reputation of our centres among their families and among their community.
