What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Centre Manager, you’ll be a trusted leader and role model in your centre. In this role, you’ll:

  • Support the Centre Manager with daily operations, planning, and team management

  • Build strong relationships with families, educators, and the local community

  • Help ensure the centre meets National Quality Standards and compliance requirements

  • Motivate, mentor, and support your educator team

  • Lead by example in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment

  • Contribute to strategic planning, rostering, and centre goals

What You’ll Need

To apply for an Assistant Centre Manager role, you’ll need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be working towards one)

  • Experience working in an early learning environment

  • A valid Working with Children Check

  • First Aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis training
