What You’ll Be Doing

As a Lead Educator, you’ll take ownership of your learning space and guide your team to deliver quality experiences every day. In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead planning and documentation of inquiry-based, play-led programs

  • Support and mentor educators to deliver consistent, high-quality care

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families

  • Observe and track children’s development to guide learning goals

  • Ensure routines are safe, inclusive and aligned with centre practices

  • Work closely with your Centre Manager and Educational Leader to meet goals

What You’ll Need

To be a Lead Educator, you’ll need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it)

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

  • A valid Working with Children Check

  • First Aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis training
