Childcare for Babies (0-1 years)
A gentle and nurturing start to early learning.
You want the very best for your baby - a place where they feel safe, loved, and gently supported to grow. Our Healthy Beginnings nursery program is designed with that in mind.
At Affinity Education, we understand that starting childcare is a big step for your family. That’s why we focus on building strong bonds between babies and their educators, creating a secure, responsive environment where your baby can thrive.
Our program is grounded in Attachment Theory and relationship practices - both proven to support emotional wellbeing and lifelong confidence.

Built on Bonds and Belonging
The first year of life is all about connection. Our educators build strong, positive bonds with every baby in their care by tuning in to their cues, following their routines, and offering nurturing, one-on-one interactions throughout the day.
These early relationships help babies feel secure and understood - giving them the confidence to explore new surroundings, try new experiences, and develop at their own pace.
The First Step in Our Lifelong Learning Curriculum
Our Healthy Beginnings program is the first stage in our exclusive Lifelong Learning Curriculum, designed for children aged 0–5 years.

A Day in the Life of a Baby at Our Centres
Every baby is different - and our educators take the time to understand and follow your child’s unique routine. A typical day might look like:
🌅 Morning welcome:
Smiles, cuddles, and a gentle start to the day. Educators offer one-on-one support during drop-off and ease babies into their environment.
🌿 Sensory or outdoor play:
Tummy time in the fresh air, water play, musical shakers, or indoor sensory zones based on your baby’s interests.
🥣 Feeding time:
Bottles or pureed meals (as per your child’s needs), with lots of conversation and connection.
🧸 Guided exploration:
Learning zones are refreshed daily to support skill development through open-ended, baby-safe materials.
🛏️ Rest time:
Each baby has their own cot or sleep space, and educators follow your baby’s cues to support naps with gentle, responsive care.
📖 Group time:
Songs, books and movement to support language, rhythm and social connection.
🍓 Afternoon tea & pick-up:
Your baby winds down with a final meal and outdoor play, ready for a joyful reunion with you — with stories of their day shared by their educators.
