Meet Our Team
Meet Jan Williams, Centre Manager and Early Childhood Teacher at Bright Beginnings Children's Centre. Jan has dedicated more than 30 years to early childhood education, with over 20 of those years spent leading and nurturing the community at Bright Beginnings Children’s Centre. Holding a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education), Jan brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a genuine passion for giving children the very best start in life.
She believes the first five years are the most pivotal in shaping a child’s learning journey, and she finds joy in the fact that no two days are ever the same. Each day brings new discoveries, inspiration, and opportunities to support both the children and her team. Jan is also a strong advocate for the importance of early childhood education, not only in children’s learning, but in recognising and celebrating the profession itself.
What makes Bright Beginnings truly special, Jan says, is the dedicated and long-standing team of educators who create a warm, welcoming, and connected environment for families. Strong community ties, including close relationships with allied health professionals, ensure children are supported in every aspect of their development. The centre also focuses on wellbeing through mindfulness opportunities, and families will notice an emphasis on natural play and loose parts throughout the learning environments.
