Meet Our Team
My name is Kobie (Maria) Coetzee, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Port Eco Kids Village. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and 9 years of experience in the sector, I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
Working with children has always been my passion. Alongside my early childhood qualifications, I am also a qualified teacher and trainer and assessor, reflecting my lifelong love of teaching, learning, and supporting others to reach their potential. I am a strong advocate for children and am committed to ensuring every child feels heard, valued, and empowered as they grow and develop. The joy, curiosity, and enthusiasm that children bring each day are what continue to inspire me in my work.
Stepping into a leadership role has been a long-term goal of mine, and one of the aspects I enjoy most is building meaningful relationships with children, families, and educators. I believe strong partnerships create the foundation for positive early learning experiences and help children thrive.
One of the things that makes Port Eco Kids Village so special is the genuine connections our team has built with families. Our educators have fostered strong, trusting relationships and have remained a source of support and consistency for families, even during times of change and uncertainty.
