Miss Deb’s ‘Remarkable Achievements’ Recognised in Parliament

Congratulations Childcare Educator Award

Affinity Education Group educator Miss Debadatta (Deb) Paul from Kids Academy Glenmore Park has been recognised for her ‘remarkable achievements’ in early childhood education, and for making a lasting impact on the centre’s local reputation and community. 

Local Member for Badgerys Creek, Tanya Davies MP, presented Deb with a certificate, letter of congratulations and Community Recognition Statement which had been presented to Parliament in October.  

Miss Deb was nominated in the 2023 NSW Training Awards, representing her steadfast commitment to the education sector.  

In her statement to Parliament, Mrs Davies congratulated Miss Deb for her accomplishments as an early childhood educator.

“She is ardently passionate about unlocking the unique potential within every child under her stewardship and has consistently demonstrated this through her innovated and caring approach to teaching,” Mrs Davies said. 

“Completing a traineeship through the Affinity Learning Academy, Debadatta has amplified her skills and knowledge, further enriching the learning experiences she provides to our young minds. 

“Her nomination is not merely a recognition of individual triumph but is symbolic of the profound impact all dedicated educators have on our children, nurturing their future growth,” she said.

Affinity CEO Tim Hickey and NSW State Manager Tori Robinson both congratulated Miss Deb on her recognition. 

“It’s a thrill to see our people recognised for our Affinity values of Going Above and Beyond – well done Miss Deb,” Mr Hickey said.  

“Everyone loves Deb! We need more educators like her in our sector who keep their passion alive year after year – it's so exciting to see this recognition,” Ms Robinson said.
