Affinity Education Group were honoured to host Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) in conjunction with the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care at our Kids Academy Early Learning Warnervale, to celebrate the launch of the Triple P program becoming completely free nationally.
Triple P’s online resource and tools are now free for all parents and carers with children under 12 years of age, fully funded through the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care grant funding.
Opening the proceedings was our own Dr Lesley Jones, Head of Pedagogy and Practice here at Affinity Education Group.
Dr Lesley said, “Affinity Education Group provides support for thousands of Australian families through our early education and care centre communities across the country, and we know firsthand how important this sort of support is for young families.”
“We regularly invite families to attend our Healthy Families webinars which share information and support on guiding children through their first five years.”
Triple P is an internationally acclaimed, research-driven parenting program that empowers parents with effective, practical tools and techniques to support their children's emotional development and well-being.
The Hon Emma McBride Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention said, “It’s important for parents and carers to look after their own mental health and wellbeing, as well as their children’s, and this program will give them the support they need.”
