At Affinity Education, we want our people to love the work they do. We are proud to share our passion for exceptional early childhood education and care with more than 3000 educators and teachers across more than 190 centres.
The early childhood education and care sector is thriving. Despite the changing landscape of 2020, early childhood care was recognised as an essential industry. Governments continue to recognise early childhood care as crucial to the recovery of Australia’s post-Covid-19 recession. Over the next five years, the industry is expected to see robust growth.
🠖 Pre-primary teacher job roles will experience the largest relative growth in the sector, growing by 22%, reaching 9,000 jobs by 2023.
🠖 In absolute terms, child carers are expected to experience the largest surge in jobs, with a forecast of 27,600 jobs growth by 2023.
🠖 Overall, the number of people working in the area is expected to swell to 49,100 by 2024, from 42,300 in 2019.
There are thousands of families and children that need passionate people in early education to help them learn and grow.
